So today is the one year anniversary of my blog and I’d like to say a quick thank you to those who follow me and anyone else who continuously reads my little ramblings. Blogging has quickly become my favourite past time and although I have found it difficult to post recently (deadlines, urgh) I have a summer full of plans and lots of blogpost ideas, so thank you for being so so patient and sticking with me.
Today’s post is just a small one. In between our deadlines and exams, me and sam managed to squeeze in a walk to my favourite spot to take pictures (white walls are a bloggers best friend, believe me). The tiniest droplets of rain fell on the ground like a whisper but the air still sat on our shoulders, heavy and warm and so I pulled out an old Miss Selfridge jumpsuit and denim jacket. Outfits like these are perfect for when the weather could change from warm and sunny to thunder and lightening in the blink of an eye – the shoulders and arms are left bare to accommodate for the heat and the denim jacket can easily be put on or taken off to suit the weathers demands. This jumpsuit is perfect for someone who finds it difficult to get out of black during summer, like me. I can remain in the colour I feel comfortable in but the florals make it season appropriate. The buttoned up front is a little different to a lot of the jumpsuits you see nowadays and they work perfectly to pull the waist in and accentuate your curves. I paired the look with my Adidas Superstars for comfort and also because they look fab and never leave my feet.
